Bio for Joan Leppla, M. Ed., Certified Detoxification Specialist (CDS)
Joan is an educator, facilitator, and healing arts practitioner. A lifelong lover of nature, health enthusiast, and perpetual spiritual seeker, Joan recognizes that nature, both within and without, holds a critical key to living a truly healthy, vibrant, and authentic life. She has over 15 years experience in conducting classes and seminars on healing, meditation, and spirituality in everyday life and is interested in helping others live in greater harmony with nature through everyday choices and discovering creative ways to give back to planet Earth.
In addition to having a Master of Education degree, Joan is a certified Health Counselor/Detoxification Specialist and a teaching Reiki Master. She also recently completed a certification program in Plant-based Nutrition from Cornell University and is currently studying Organic Psychology / Natural Attraction Ecology through Project Nature Connect, a program offered by various educational institutions including Akamai University in Hawaii and Portland State University.
